What Would A 5 Wood Do?

Ok..I'll try to make this simple. In my golf bag, I use a Driver, 3 wood and a 3 hybrid (and 4 thru lob wedge). I am able to hit my hybrid as far as my 3 wood, but the 3 wood obviously goes lower and rolls further than the hybrid. If I were to re-place the hybrid with a 5 wood, what are the possibility's of switching up? I dont want to buty an extra 5 wood if dont need it. Are there any flaws with woods and hybrids?...I know its a preference..but I was curious to see if anybody has experimented with this type of situation?...thanks for your feedback!!...Arizona Golf is the place to be!!
