VideoGet and ZillaTube both not working?

I'm getting pretty ticked off. Out of the blue, both VideoGet and Zillatube stopped downloading videos. Both come upo with error. Videoget says the host is unreachable, while Zillatube says the video is unavailable for download, no matter which videos I try. It's obvious to me that the problem is with the host, aka youtube, not the programs. It's clear to me that Youtube must have put up some kind of security to block programs from downloading their videos. I know this because both programs stopped working on the same day. I noticed that they changed their layout of the site slightly the day it stopped working. To make things perfectly clear, my intenet connection is fine, the settings are fine, the firewall is fine. There is no conceivable problem with my computer that would cause this. So first off, I needto know, is anyone still able to use these programs? Because I imagine they have the blockage on a widespread scale by now. Also PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT refer me to another downloading program. I dont want one. VideGet was my favorite, and I would love to be able to use it again. Has anyone figured a way around this? Does anyone have advice on what I could do?
