German Shepherd Rescued?

to all who I have "spoken" with before and to all who lovingly offered suggestions. "Abbey" the dog I rescued from the Humane Society took a turn for the worse. I sat up with her 48 hours on Sunday trying to give her fluids with a syringe, still would't eat a thing. She was at the vets Mon.mornng. He have her IV fluids and some antibiotics. Blood work showed some form of pancreatitus(?). Because of her emaciated body and I guess poor health she just went down hill. I went to seeher today at 12 and couldn't believe her condition. Dull eyes, sunken in face, no recognition that I was even there. Plus she had a horrible green,yellow and white discharge from her nose that was hindering her breathing. The vet and i sat and talked (well he talked, I cried) and we just didn't see her getting any better, we both decided it was time to let her go. I laid on the blanket with her face to face and held her while she went on to Heaven. So although I only had her for a few days I KNOW she felt love.
