Does the Puritan ancestry of many Americans explain how Americans are natural actors?

Being an actor is like being a phony and being a holier-than-thou religious person is also like being a phony. Actors pretend to be something that they’re not just like holier-than-thou religious people pretend to be prophets, preachers or proselytizers etc. Well, they are proselytizers, but you know, the stuff they proselytize is definitely not genuine. But do you know what I mean? Puritans were like the breeding stock of Caucasian Americans; they were the reason English is spoken in the USA and Puritans were renowned holier-than-thou religious people. What do you think about this hypothesis?
