My mom selected a bunch of stupid songs to download on itunes, how can I delete them?

My mom selected a bunch of stupid songs to download on itunes, how can I delete them? They are rotting on my available downloads list. I dont want to download them THEN delete them, because I am stuck with dialup and it takes FOREVER to even download just ONE song. Is there a way I can get rid of them?
